You Know It's Christmas is a Christmas-themed song performed by Gummibär, being originally released as a single on December 11, 2007 and would be made downloadable in the official website for $1.00 a few days later. Soon after, the official music video was uploaded to YouTube on December 1, 2009, featuring a more shorter version of the song.

The song has been featured multiple times and translated into different languages since then, such as the duet with Felix the Cat, a release for the Greece exclusive album Χριστούγεννα Με Τον Gummy Bear, the re-release for the album "Christmas Jollies", and the 2021 compilation album "Holiday Fun Time" with a remixed version. It was also used in the film "The Yummy Gummy Search for Santa".

The 30 second animation skit has a scene which Gummibär is on a "bobsleigh" sledding down a huge hill full of trees. There is also a scene where he is dancing beside a lamp post outside and more scenes which involve him inside of his house which has Christmas decorations. He ends up sledding down to a ramp made of snow and flies across the screen with the moon being in the background. He wishes everyone a Merry Christmas at the end. The music video has both a widescreen and square ratio release.

Original[]

The original version was released officially by Gummibär as both a short 30 second skit and a full version. This version would also be re-released for the album Christmas Jollies in 2010. This variant would be used for the English, Hungarian, French, Brazilian, and German dub of the song.

Alternative/Early Version[]

The alternative/early variant of the song is identical to the original version of the song with minor changes. The changes in the song being the "Ding-Dong!" part of the song, presumably being derived from the Felix the Cat duet and the change of instrument in the "Give me your hand" segment. The sound mixing is altered only slightly. It is likely that this version song was released as an album exclusive. This variant would be used for the English, Spanish, Portuguese, and Polish dubs of the song.
