Toonz Media Group is an Indian licensing and production company of media and entertainment sector. Founded in 1999, with a legacy of over 20 years, the company is based out of Trivandrum in India with 11 global offices across the world. Toonz Media Group offers a multitude of services with diverse interests in producing and distributing live-action feature films, digital and gaming content, licensing and merchandising, and media-related education.
They were involved on signing a partnership with Gummybear International for the production and licensing of the Gummibär & Friends animated television series[1], as well as a feature film titled Gummibär & Friends: Operation Cotton Candy that is scheduled to be released in the summer of 2026.[2]
Trivia[]
- Unlike the first season of Gummibär & Friends, Toonz Media Group was not involved in the animation of the episodes from the second season. Instead, they were produced by a different animation company named Melon Animation.
