Party Pop is the third mainstream album by Gummibär released on October 16, 2015 in the United States under the label of Gummybear International. It is a compilation of Gummibär-related songs that were previously released, including covers from other artists and original compositions. The album was released in both digital and physical CD versions, featuring over 15 tracks and an additional one as bonus. The CD was released in a digipak packaging and includes a mini-poster inside along with a coloring page on the back side.

The CD was earlier sold prior to its official release that could be bought physically at VidCon 2015 as of July 14, 2015, where the Gummibär brand would assign its own booth.[1] On February 14, 2025, the album was re-released as a repress of its physical release, based on public demand after the copies of the original album were sold out phenomenally.[2]

Trivia[]

  • Some of the new song compositions that were featured in this album were later re-released as individual music videos, including I Want Candy and Moves Like Jagger.
  • This is the second time that the song Lucky Star was released in its entirety after being featured as an exclusive music score for the film The Yummy Gummy Search for Santa that was only heard as a shortened version, the first one being Dance With Me.
  • The title of the album "Party Pop" is a rather obvious reference to a verse of the song I Am A Gummy Bear, where Gummibär utters the exact word in the lyrics.
  • Coincidentally, the CD repress of the album was released almost 10 years after the official release of the original album.
