Nuki Nuki (also known as The Nuki Song) is a song performed by Gummibär that was released as a music video in 2009. It was later featured on the I Am A Gummy Bear DVD and the album "La La Love To Dance".

Music video variations[]

Long version[]

The music video starts when Gummibär drums his big belly, then he is singing a song about his unusual pacifier called Nuki. He has also the ability to turn his phone into a computer, airplane and a roller coaster car.

He dances through different places, such as a white and blue gradual void similar to The Gummy Bear Song being surrounded by other living nukis and phones, a small room designed to be Gummibär's home, and an island with a roller coaster. In further scenes, he appears to play in a concert.

Early Version[]

The Early Version Of The Music Videos Features Diferrent Animations To The Final Version. It Was Uploaded To The Hering Youtube Channel In 2012.

Production[]

Music[]

The song was written by Christian Schneider, Jürgen Korduletsch and Maci Schneider, who is also the vocalist and producer. The melody was directly taken from its precursor song "Schnullersong", which was featured in the Hungary-exclusive album Gumidiszkó!.

An earlier production of the full version was featured in the Swedish compilation album "Absolute Kidz 25", with an alternate beggining and slight modifications in the rest of the song.

Animation[]

The original music video was animated by The Hering, with Balazs Jekler being the director, producer and VFX supervisor of the video. An earlier version of the full-length video was uploaded to YouTube on their official channel.

The HD version would be produced by the primary animation studio at the time, bitOrigo. Unlike the HD remake of The Gummy Bear Song, the original animations were re-used in most of scenes rather than being entirely remade.

Trivia[]

  • A slightly different version of the song can be listened on the Japanese release of La La Love To Dance. It uses a different instrumental and swapping the lyric "Superman and Mickey Mouse" to "Mickey Man and Super Mouse", likely due to Japan's notably stricter copyright laws.
    • The swapped lyric can be also heard in the Hip Hop High Mix version of the same release.
  • An album of the same name was released exclusively in Poland in 2009.
  • The precursor to Nuki Nuki "Schnullersong" from the album Gumidiszkó! features largely the same composition as The Nuki Song, which would later be released in 2009 as a shortened and cleaned up version of Schnullersong.
  • This is the second most-viewed Gummibär song following I Am A Gummy Bear (The Gummy Bear Song)
  • This is also the most-viewed video on The Official Gummibär Channel
