Synopsis[]

Gummy heads up to his computer and searches himself on Google. Further scenes feature him arriving in space with his pet goldfish, dancing on a dance floor, and messing around with planets.

Harry eventually joins in, and Alan gets defeated. All of this ends up being what is presumably a game being played on Gummy's computer.

Lyrics[]

Come on, let's get started
Come on, let's get started
Come on, let's get started
Come on, let's get started

Gummi up, Google in, check for green bear
I'll tell you what you'll find
I'm gonna be there
I can't miss, Mr. Mister Gummibär
Popping up, check it out
Come on, let's get started

Your turn, tweet me now, people everywhere
We're getting ready, lift off to the stratosphere
No way I'd ever leave without you
Join the trip, rocket-ship
We will have a party, let's go

Mister Gummibär
Mister Gummibär

Let's rock this party wicked on the internet
Dance with the green bear up until it's time for bed
They call me chubby, but I'm no jelly bean
They call me crazy head (Everybody scream!)

Just call me Gummibär, don't call me Winnie Pooh
They say I'm hazy, goofy, crazy, but I'm really cool
I can dance and move my feet to the beat, to the beat
Call me Funny Bear, but really I'm a gummy bear

Gummi up, Google in, check for green bear
I'll tell you what you'll find
I'm gonna be there
I can't miss, Mr. Mister Gummibär
Popping up, check it out

Trivia[]

  • Unknowngummybearclip

A screenshot of the video, showing said orb.

There is a scene in the music video that features orbs showing clips from many past music videos. One of the orbs shows a clip of Gummy wearing pink underwear in front of Shibuya's 109 department store, doing a dance seen previously in La La La I Love You's music video before panning to a shot of trees. It is currently unknown what this is for. But it is mostly speculated to be a promotional animation for Gummibär's collaboration with Tokyo Girls Collection in 2010, judging by the logo being seen on the building.
    • It was once thought to be a scene in the SMAP×SMAP Tokyo promo prior to its finding.
  • Comparison

    Comparison.

In the lyric video, the shot of Harry steering his spaceship appears to have been re-rendered to show him camouflaging.
  • Between November 3, 2025 until November 25, 2025, a remix contest of the song is currently being held entitled the "2025 Gummibär Remix Contest".
    • Due to this contest, the song is one of the few to have its instrumental and vocal stems released officially, the first being the instrumental of I Am A Gummy Bear, the second being the instrumental of Buj Buj Polka, and the third being instrumental stems and the vocal track of Bubble Up.
