- "Look for the gummy bear album in stores on November 13th, with lots of music, videos and extras."
- — Gummibär promoting the I Am Your Gummy Bear album.
Look for the Gummy Bear Album is a promotional advertisement that is featured in the beginning of the original 2007 video upload of The Gummy Bear Song by the channel "icanrockyourworld". Said promo features Gummibär's autotuned voice promoting his upcoming album at the time, I Am Your Gummy Bear, which was scheduled for release on November 13th, 2007.
Another variant of the promo can be seen in further uploads from other languages of the video that came after November 13th, which can be also seen in The Official Gummibär Channel uploads of the same music video. The only change being the text at the bottom reads "IN STORES EVERYWHERE!", and the voiceline was re-recorded to exclude the words "November 13th".
Popularity[]
Around June 2019, it became a popular meme across the internet. Which on every November 13th, you must look for the gummy bear album by buying it from stores. There has been a large amount of edited videos mostly replacing the audio with Gummibär's voiceline, as well as videos of animated characters voiced by impersonators crying as they said they forgot to look for the gummy bear album.
On November 13, 2019, Gummibär's fourth mainstream album was released with the name of "The Gummy Bear Album", referencing the meme, which led up to releasing new albums on streaming platforms every year on November 13th or near that due to its immense popularity, becoming a tradition.
