Ich Bin Dein Gummibär is a German single released by Gummibär, notably known for being one of the first albums to be released in the entire Gummibär series. It was distributed in Germany, Austria and Switzerland by the record labels Lautstark, Sushi Tunes, and Yavido Clips on October 20, 2006 in different formats, including digital, CD, and vinyl.[1] The single helped to capitalize the popularity of the Gummibär character by featuring the song that had been recieving a promitent attention across the Internet, Ich Bin Dein Gummibär.
A year later, on February 9, 2007, the single was re-released in a new format, being titled Ich Bin Dein Gummibär (New Version). As its name indicates, it consisted of a new, updated version of its predecesor, partially featuring the same track listing with a few tracks being replaced with new compositions. Subsequently, more variations of the single would be released in other countries over time, adding several modifications that could be distinguished from the German versions. The latest German release of the same name, Ich Bin Dein Gummibär, was released on August 20, 2010, serving once again as a reworked version of the prior attempts.
The track listing of the single only features 5 tracks in total, varying from the authentic composition of Ich Bin Dein Gummibär to several remixes of the song. Additionally, the single features the Hungarian version of the song, Itt Van A Gumimaci, and a video clip consisting of the 30-second animated music video of the song that has been spawning a remarkable presence in the Internet.

Trivia[]
- This is the only single to have released a vinyl format, making it be one of the only Gummibär albums to release said format.
- This single features the first language of I Am A Gummy Bear in German, the second being in the original Hungarian version.
- This being the first recorded language of the song, there is a surprising lack of backing vocals compared to later versions in other languages. Gummibär’s re-used “Oh yea-oh” is even slightly different in this version only. (Not counting the French dub where he says “Oh yeah” re-recorded without the extra “oh” at the end.)
