Gummy Bear 3d Movie

Gummy Bear 3D: The Movie is an unreleased CG animated film that acted as Gummibär's second film adaptation, previously followed by The Yummy Gummy Search for Santa. It was allegedly intended to be produced by Stealth Media Group, Gummy Bear Films, Oscar Generale Productions, and Spice Factory as a treatment to expand the Gummibär universe with new elements and characters. The film would be highlighted largely by the American actor John Travolta, who was cast to voice Gummibär in the dialogues.

The production of the film would be scheduled to start as of September 30, 2014.[1] Not much was known about the film at the time, other than promotional images and a script. In 2016, it was announced that the film was never produced and two of the studios involved shut down after misleading the public with the budget.

Plot[2][]

In a far away universe, a top secret test version of a deep space video game is delivered to Gummibär that would later suck him into his computer, and subsequently, he finds a mysterious egg as seen in the game. Soon after, Gummy finds himself fighting with an evil red alien named Snark. When Gummy accidentally crashes to earth, he finds himself in Mimi Yaya's bedroom, who is introduced as Gummibär's biggest fan.

Pursued by Snark, Mimi offers Gummy to find his way home, but Mimi finds out he has the same game as theirs, so Mimi and Gummy play it and are transported back into the video game land itself. Now accompanied by Harry the chamaleon, Vampiro the vampire bat and Cupcake the cupcake. The team try to figure out what they could do with the egg that Gummy has previously acquired. Meanwhile, Drack Overlord orders Snark to retrieve the egg from Gummy while Captain Steele and his agents, Clint and Lee, want the egg for themselves. With the help of Mimi's father, Professor Gibson Yaya, the team find out that the egg is actually a super powerful energy source.

Cancellation[]

The production of the film would be later announced as cancelled and the two companies Spice Factory and Gummy Bear Films would be shut down by the high court after being accused of misleading the public in the film. The court found that the companies took £3 million from the British public, but failed to provide returns and spent only 11% of the funds on the film production. The court ruled that 89% of the investment was not going towards film production costs.[3]
