Gummibär (occasionally referred to as Gummy Bear in English, or simply as Gummy) is a German virtual music artist and the titular, multilingual CGI-animated character of the Gummibär series. Gummibär is well known for protagonizing his own song "I Am A Gummy Bear (The Gummy Bear Song)", and having interpreted a number of songs and music videos that revolve around him. Created by Christian Schneider and designed by Pete Dodd[28], Gummibär became a viral phenomenon over the years, with having a significant online presence on the Internet and being considered by many as an icon of the early era of YouTube in the late 2000s, cherished by many with a sense of nostalgia.
Gummibär is often characterized in Gummibär-related media as a joyful, easygoing and energetic gummy bear who is passionate about singing and dancing. Sometimes, he is shown to be accompanied by supporting characters who act as his group of friends; Kala, a blue serval cat who is a master of martial arts that grounds the group, and Harry, a green male paranoid chamaleon who adds extra comic relief. Although both are essential to the comedy of the series, Gummibär is best known working as a solo character.
Born in Vojvodina, Yugoslavia, now resident of Germany, Christian Schneider used to work as a tax attorney, until one day he went to a music studio where he encountered with a guy that had "problems with taxes" and sought ways to get money as soon as possible. As an act of kindness, Christian volunteered to produce songs with them for a variety of music careers, including singing. Both ended up producing at least 2 songs that they later submitted to the German record company CBS Frankfurt, and the person saw Christian as having a good voice for music. The company contacted Christian with an invitation to come to Frankfurt. This entire situation was Christian's first interaction with music and media professionally, which would develop him a deep interest with them.[8]
In late 2005, Christian found himself attending a restaurant located in Germany. While the cook was delayed, he ordered a couple of small beers, as he was willing to eat the special plates that the cook could offer him. He later encountered with a female bartender, who she would involve him in a whimsical conversation. At first, the bartender referred to him as her gummy bear. Taken aback, Christian initially responded with disbelief, uttering: "No, what?". However, in the very next moment, he playfully retorted "I am your gummy bear". This simple interaction would spark a brilliant idea in Christian's mind, and he promptly recorded himself humming a melody in his vintage Walkman.[8]
With the idea now in hand, Christian signed the song to a German publication known as Titelschutz Anzeiger on September 13, 2005 along with Reinhard Raith, who is also responsible for being one of the main producers of Crazy Frog.[30][31] Christian faced an obstacle with comissioning to an animation studio to produce a short animation for the song, as most of the studios he contacted rejected the idea, until then he gave the idea to someone else who had strong connections with other animation studios. Three companies only seemed to be interested with the idea, but Christian eventually decided to commission a small company for the production of the video, Wil Film ApS. German producer Christian André Schneider (a.k.a. Tonekind), who is Christian's son, worked in the song as the music producer and vocalist.[32]
In the beginning of 2006, Danish director and creator Pete Dodd was comissioned by Christian to come up with a design for a character that could resemble of a gummy bear candy, in order to be used for a 30-second CGI-animated pop promo music video in which he would star as the singer. The definitive design of the character became an half-naked, overweight animated gummy bear with a half-chewed right ear that only wears an orange underwear and white sport sneakers. Dodd was also comissioned to direct, design and animate the video that would involve the character humorously singing and dancing along to the song. The 30-second animated video ended up being produced through the animation studio Wil Film ApS in Copenhagen for Ministry of Sound GmbH in Berlin, using the 3D computer graphics software Softimage XSI.[29][33]
In the words of Christian, Gummibär had a tough transition to having a family for the film The Yummy Gummy Search for Santa, as the character already had a very lovable appearance that would make a difficult process to incorporate other characters who could also take the role of protagonism besides him.[8]
Voice portrayal[]
Maci Schneider voiced Gummibär in multiple songs and in many different languages, including English, German, Hungarian, etc.
Gummibär's singing voice is provided by the German music producer Maci Schneider, the son of Christian, who is also involved in the arrangement and production for most songs.[8] Gummibär's trademark voice is usually shown in a high-pitched, autotuned male voice that has been often used for the songs. Maci portrayed Gummibär not only in English, but also in most of other languages, including German, Hungarian, French, Polish, etc. Although Maci has provided his voice for other languages, certain exceptions exist in songs which were performed by other individuals. However, English, German and Hungarian have been the only languages that Maci was able to reprise his voice acting role in the songs.
While this has been the English voice that has been associated the character the most, there have been other media where Maci's role as the voice actor of Gummibär was replaced by other voice actors. One of the first instances of Gummibär's voice being portrayed by a different voice actor started off with the film The Yummy Gummy Search for Santa, where the dialogues of Gummy were instead voiced by Sonja Ball[9], replicating the voice of a chubby American kid. Despite this, Maci was still able to reprise his role for the songs that were featured and written specifically for this film. This was the first and only time where Sonja Ball participated in a Gummibär-related project as Gummibär and since then was replaced subsequently by other voice actors.
In the Gummibär & Friends animated television series, just like Sonja Ball, Gummibär was voiced by Phillipa Alexander only in the dialogues[10], but yet Maci reprised his voice acting role for the songs that were written specifically for a musical sequence in each episode. Phillipa also reprised her role for most of the supplementary material related to the series, including a set of educational videos in which Gummy gives advice to the children's audience about learning life habits and take responsibilities for an educational application named Do You Promise?, where the Gummibär character made its appearance as part of a partnership.[34] Phillipa's role as Gummibär was not reprised for Gummybear and Friends speed racing, but instead was evidently replaced by a different unknown voice actor featuring a raspier voice to Gummy.
Appearance[]
Physical description[]
Gummibär's initial appearance in the 30-second short version of "I Am A Gummy Bear", originally designed by Pete Dodd and modeled by Kim Frederiksen.
Gummibär is a short, slightly overweight, anthropomorphic green gummy bear, who has a large black nose, thin dark brown eyebrows, and two large eyes with blue pupils, usually depicted as having varying sizes from each other. He has two rounded ears, with the right one having visible bite marks taken out of it. He appears to have four fingers on both hands and three toes on each foot, which were originally shown to have paw pads in the 30-second short version of "I Am A Gummy Bear (The Gummy Bear Song)". His overweight shows him to have two droopy nipples, a protruding belly button, and large rear-end.
His muzzle is usually depicted to be light green accompanied by a carpet texture. However, in the 30-second short of the "I Am A Gummy Bear" music video, his muzzle appears to have a sugar-coated texture instead. The inside of his mouth and tongue are normally dark green, with two round, white bottom fangs. While his mouth and tongue are typically depicted in a green color, a red variant is occasionally shown in a couple of related material. This includes mostly merchandising relating to the character, stock artwork, etc.
His size may become inconsistent in music videos and supplemental material, such as "Cho Ka Ka O", where he appears to have an incredibly small size, resembling that of a real-life gummy bear candy. On other occasions, this size may be increased to the average size of a young child, as seen in "A Christmas for the Family".
Clothing[]
Gummibär wearing his recurrent clothes, an orange Y-front underwear and white sports sneakers.
Gummibär's attire is typically known for wearing an orange Y-front underwear and white sports sneakers. His sneakers feature an orange stripe running down the sides and an orange trim around the heel, as well as white laces and gray colored, sometimes reflective rings. His underwear appears to barely fit his body due to his large rear-end. The color of his clothes may vary for special occasions, including red, blue, and pink, but orange has always been the primary color.
Some of the first occasions where Gummibär wore new clothes involve the music video of "I Am A Gummy Bear (The Gummy Bear Song)", where he is seen only wearing a dark red cowboy hat. In "Cho Ka Ka O", he appears to wear a hawaiian skirt for a short scene sequence. And lastly, in "Go For The Goal", Gummibär wears football clothing that occasionally varies depending on the scene, this marking the first time he wore a full clothing instead of having a basic accessory.
Gummibär and his other duplicates of him wearing different types of clothing.
The music video of "I Am Bear" features a lot of multiple duplicates of him working as background characters. While they only just seem to be background characters, most of the clothing used can be interpreted as inspiration from popular culture, including hip-hop, punk, rasta, etc. Some outfits can even be percieved as a reference to other media, including a Gummibär duplicate that wears a similar clothing and haircut resembling that of Mozart's, and another one who appears to wear flashy and stylish clothing while having a pompadour haircut, which could be significantly inspired from the iconic clothing of Elvis Presley.
Personality[]
Gummibär is a friendly, outgoing, silly, happy and energetic gummy bear who has a cheerful personality, although at times he can be accident-prone. He appears to be one of the only kind-hearted beings in his universe, as he is often shown to have a moral character and spreads empathy to others whom he thinks they really need it. This has also encouraged him to always motivate people to smile despite the negative aspects in life. In the episode "Crack a Smile", Gummy attempts to make Fred, an inanimate statue, smile by singing a song about "cracking a smile". While Gummibär has mostly shared this light-hearted personality with other beings, he has also shared it with other things that exist in the world, including animals, and even inanimated objects.

Besides being highly friendly, he is also hyperactive and always seeks fun ways to entertain himself and others. He can be curious and quite experimental at times. He is shown to have a strong attachment with music, especially singing and dancing. His performance on these are significantly very effective, as he portrays them in a unique and unrealistic way that could possibly not be able to be replicated in the real world. Some of his most characterized dance moves involve him spinning with one finger on the ground, shaking his rear-end to the screen, and drum with his belly in a humorous way. Gummibär is also depicted to be experienced with playing instruments.
Gummibär is shown to have a lot of activities and interests, these including the aforementioned singing and dancing, skateboarding, driving vehicles, playing games, etc. He is very willing to do tasks and challenges, and always looks to play clean. However, there may be rare occasions where Gummy can be carried away while overcome by his obsession with a particular activity, where he loses track of reality and starts to feel that his sole purpose is that activity.

Providing his kindness, Gummibär can also develop a romantic side. This personality of him is predominantly shown in a wealth of material, mostly including songs and music videos that are focused on love. Although it has never been officially confirmed that Gummibär has a true relationship with another character, there were some occasions where he would fall in love at least once. In the music video of "La La La I Love You", he meets a pink, tribal female gummy bear with whom he falls in love while looking at her appearance, and in other instances, he even directly speaks to the viewer expressing how much he loves to them.
Gummibär injured after attempting to land on an island while being unable to control a plane.
While he is capable of being self-aware and learn to recognize what is morally correct and what is not, Gummibär can some times become silly and unintelligent, forming part of the other side of his personality. This behavior is usually not harmful to others, but in some circumstances, these actions can lead to a critical situation and injure his surroundings. In the episode "Macaroni Plant", he comes up with the idea of growing a macaroni plant and proceeds to do it, even though it is scientifically impossible. And in "Gumphibian", he determines to become and live as a frog due to sharing the color green with them. Gummibär has also shown to be a bit accident-prone sometimes when it comes to using vehicles, as he can be clumsy and can get into humorous situations. In "La La La I Love You", he displays a plane which he controls, but at one point he ends up being completely unable to control the plane, causing him to land and subsequently crash onto an island where he gets injured.
Despite Gummibär has always remained a friendly personality, he can also have boundaries in rare instances when it comes to express his displeasure and anger as things are not fair as he prefers. In the episode "Crosswalk Guard", Gummy goes crazy about how overly strict Harry is towards him while working as a crosswalk guard, impeding Gummy to cross the road. He despises wickedness and seeks to protect his friends from people who really want to harm them, as this has been shown once in the film The Yummy Gummy Search for Santa, when he appears utterly baffled after having witnessed how Alan poorly treated one of his friends during their meetup.
Gummibär being pursued by crabs while covered in chocolate, as it all turns out to be a dream.
Gummibär is occasionally depicted to take periodic naps, which often result in weird dreams. In "Cho Ka Ka O", he falls asleep shortly after he stares to the title screen of a video game playing on a television screen, to then starting to dream that he is living inside the video game. While in this dream world, he aimlessly avoids obstacles while showing off his dance moves, until some crabs eventually join in too. Subsequently, a scene sequence shows off Gummy failing on avoiding obstacles and ends up being covered in chocolate on a cup filled with it, to then realize that some crabs are chasing him. Gummy keeps running away from them until he jumps into a straw leading to a glass of fruit punch where it dissolves the chocolate covering from his body.
Occupations[]
Gummibär standing on a football ball with a hand.
Gummibär has been often depicted to be very passionate about music, however, he was also shown to work in different occupations a few times. His other jobs casually show up in special music videos that revolve around those topics. He is seemingly very active in sport activities, including football, basketball, tennis, golf, hammer throw, pole vault, etc.
Gummibär is somewhat experienced with cooking, despite not being depicted as a very professional cook. While he remains motivated during the process, he can end up causing a mess if pressed too hard. In the episode "Ready Pancake One", Gummy is forced to work at Mr. Kronk's pancake restaurant after he and his friends were not able to pay their bills. However, due to the Mr. Kronk's haste, this causes Gummy to rush onto preparing things as fast as possible, leading him to cause a life-threatening situation in the restaurant.
Relationships[]
"A big part of friendship is to always make sure we are kind and respectful to everyone!"
Gummibär utterly cares about his friends, as provided from his light-hearted personality. Although he holds a considerable amount of relationships, Kala and Harry are especially considered by him as his closest friends who he spends the most time with, claiming that he loves them more than anything else.[3] He often treats them with genuine affection, even if his hyper personality creates chaos around them. Gummy is typically depicted as the comic troublemaker of the trio, but he can show loyalty and support in special occasions.
Gummibär tends to treat Kala like an older sister figure, though he often annoys her with his impulsive and childish antics. He is supportive enough to participate in Kala's interests, but without regulating his affection for her, he may end up overwhelming her. In the episode "Happy Maroon Day", Gummy asks her about her favorite color to secretly bake her a birthday cake with the color, answering with maroon. Eventually, Gummy and Harry come up with the idea of painting everything that is in their apartment maroon, to the point of overwhelming Kala.
With Harry, Gummibär acts more like a fun partner-in-crime. Both have a silly personality, but Gummy is shown to be more bold, confident and energetic, while Harry is a timid, easily startled, and often clumsy. This makes Gummibär the "leader" of their antics, dragging Harry into situations he might otherwise avoid. He sometimes teases Harry for being scared, but in a lighthearted way, not to hurt him. Even though Gummibär mostly stays loyal to him, there are occasions where both enter in awkward situations and their viewpoints differ.
While Gummibär's friendship with Paperotti is not extensively explored in the series, on the occasions when they appear together shows that they get along very well. Paperotti shares a similar goofy personality with Gummibär, and is usually shown to be accompanying him in his performances whenever he makes an appearance.
Gummibär and Alan in a dance-off for who gets to keep Santa Claus.
Alan has been previously depicted as a rival for Gummibär, who is featured as the antagonist of The Yummy Gummy Search for Santa. Gummibär held neutral terms with him, despite not being quite comfortable with Alan's cocky attitude to dominate Earth and ruin Christmas. Their first extended interactions caused Gummy to challenge him to a dance off for whoever ended up winning, would get to keep Santa Claus. Alan would later show some reconciliation after having lost and restored the things he had messed up. In present day, Alan appears to be more friendly than ever, and even considers Gummy as one of his long old friends. His return occurred in the episode "The Return of the Alien", where he absorbs Gummy into his spaceship to take him to an intergalactic joyride through space.
In the Gummibär & Friends series, Gummibär appears to be friendly with his surroundings, especially his neighbors who live near his apartment. Granny Peters is one of Gummy's unconditionally beloved neighbors, as she relates mostly by providing him some of her scientific artifacts she makes and baked goods for him and his friends, as well as sometimes she steps up when she's needed. Despite being quite affectionate, she tends to keep a secret from him and his friends of her extraordinary experiments.
Mr. Kronk is depicted as Gummy's grouchy rival due to his discomfort with Gummy's unintelligent behavior and lack of sympathy for him and his friends.
Family[]

Gummibär's family is hardly ever discussed in the Gummibär franchise. Nevertheless, some of his family members have made an appearance in some media at least once, from having simple cameos to rarely participating in a more promitent role. In the music video of "Play in a Band", there is a sequence where Gummibär and his friends arrive at a beach, where his family members would show up. These feature Gummy's father, mother, uncle, grandmother, and young brother. While this marks as the first time they make a physical appearance, their names remain unknown.
In the episode "Raiders of The Lost Gummy" from Gummibär & Friends, Gummibär's long lost cousin named Mindy makes her first debut, who appears to be now a scientist and geologist. She loves studying the things that surround her, however, she can get a little carried while in the process of studying people or things by tending to trap innocent people to subsequently put them in museums due to her thinking that there is always something "observant" about anyone. Despite going overboard during her inquiries, Gummy loves him dearly as her cousin.
Gummibär's music career started to continuously grow thanks to the well-appointed reception of "I Am A Gummy Bear (The Gummy Bear Song)". As a result, more songs and music videos began to be released to the public over time, which also spawned a line of albums that were protagonized by the character. The structure of Gummibär songs have always been characterized for having some lyrics of absurd humor and, in some cases, covers from other popular songs performed by different artists. These include "I'm A Scatman", "Cho Ka Ka O" and "Blue (Da Ba Dee)".
His genre of music has been associated with dance, comedy, children's music, pop, rock, novelty, eurodance and bubblegum. However, there are some songs that breach his established music style, such as "Dame La Gomita", which is considered urban and dembow.
The first studio album of the brand started off with I Am Your Gummy Bear, which was internationally released on November 13, 2007. And so, other albums by Gummibär began to be released in the following years, as well as extended plays (EPs), singles and compilation albums, also appearing on other albums centered on various artists. In some countries, the brand has released exclusive albums solely for them. Most of his latest music releases are often released digitally through music streaming services such as Spotify and YouTube Music, but on other occasions, his albums are also released in a physical form as compact discs (CDs).
Although his most recent songs are targeted directly to children's audiences, there may be some exceptions. His international debut album started with covers of other known artists that were not associated with a children's audience, and some of the other songs had lightly adulterated lyrics. However, these types of lyrics were sometimes overdone, these include "Touch Me" and "Do You Think I'm Sexy?". Regardless of these fairly controversial songs, Gummibär's music in general was originally classified as both for adults and children, in words of his creator Christian Schneider.[35]

Films[]
Gummibär's debut in the film industry started off with the 2012 Christmas comedy direct-to-video film The Yummy Gummy Search for Santa. It follows up Gummibär embarking to North Pole along with his group of friends Kala, Harry and Vampiro, as soon as they found out Santa Claus was reported missing on Christmas Eve. In their search, they meet a villainous alien named Alan, who accepts Gummy's challenge to a dance off as a deal of whoever won would keep Santa. This film is well known for its poor reception from the audience, many of the complaints involve the lack of story development, confusion about the target audience due to it featuring questionable humor, and the remarkable low budget animation quality.
A second film was rumored to be produced a couple of years after the first infamous Christmas film, going under the officially announced title Gummy Bear 3D: The Movie. Being initially scheduled to release some time on November 2015, the film was highly anticipated for featuring the American actor John Travolta as the voice of Gummibär.[36] One year later after the expected release date, the high court reported that the film was never produced, and two of the companies involved in the film shut down after taking 3 million pounds from the British public, but failed to provide returns and barely spent a small amount of the budget for the film.[37]
Gummibär's latest film, titled Gummibär & Friends: Operation Cotton Candy, is scheduled to be released in theaters some time in 2027. The premise of the film will follow Gummibär unwittingly being recruited by a Covert Government Agency along with his friends Kala and Harry to defeat a set of nefarious villains, who are led by Dr. Verde, the main antagonist who is determined to erase everything colorful from the planet, especially the color green.[38]
Shows[]
In the Gummibär & Friends animated television series produced by Toonz Media Group, Gummibär, Kala and Harry are featured as the main protagonists of the show. They are residents of an apartment located in a city populated by humans and are often depicted as roomates. However, they are also shown that they can have their own personal space at times. Each episode is generally filled with humor, where Gummy and his friends find themselves in funny and adventurous situations.
On April 2025, a Chinese exclusive series titled Panda and Gummy Bear premiered on the Chinese network CCTV-14, which was produced as a kind of collaboration with the animated character named "He He" and Gummibär, as part of the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Germany. The series centers on He He and his group of friends having to use Chinese musical instruments to help Gummibär to complete an electronic music work.
Reception and legacy[]
"He's the ultimate cross-platform, cross-cultural phenomenon YouTube was designed to unleash."

Since the debut of "I Am A Gummy Bear (The Gummy Bear Song)", Gummibär has been often considered as one of the most successful independent recording artists for children's audience in recent years, courtesy of his catchy music, visual appeal, internet virality, and kid-friendly branding that captivates children and older audiences. The character was successfully translated well in marketing, as the popularity of the song and music video have immediately increased while receiving attention through filesharing and word of mouth. To this day, the music video has amassed over billions of views through the YouTube platform, with videos relating to the song being watched more than 1 million times. The song has been translated over 46 different languages over the years after becoming a worldwide hit, and has registered several brand licensings with other companies to use its material, where the character would also debut in mobile ringtones, merchandising, etc. Gummibär was also highly popular in Greece, where the character would repeatedly release a number of exclusive albums, featured in a wide number of real-life products, and even a whole carnival hosted.
Gummibär is typically seen as a cultural icon on the Internet, especially as a phenomenon from the early era of YouTube, being strongly tied to nostalgia amongst older audiences as part of their first experiences with Internet video content. With having culturally impacted a multitude of people over the years, both character and song have been referenced in numerous occasions of media, including films, television shows, etc. Gummibär is not only percieved as an cultural icon, but also an Internet meme, this also revolving the yearly phenomenon "Look for the Gummy Bear Album", where people is tasked to find an album released by the artist in physical stores every November 13th, coinciding with the original release date of the album I Am Your Gummy Bear.
As much as Gummibär seems to have been generally embraced by the public, this has not always been the case. The song "I Am A Gummy Bear (The Gummy Bear Song)" has been also quite critizced by several people for being too annoying and irritating at times, mainly due to being nonsense and having been incredibly mainstream at some point. Gummibär's character has often been pointed out for being off-putting in both design and animation style, such as the strange, jiggly green body, appearing to be half-naked with wearing an underwear and the constant choppy body movement in the music video. While for some this only seems to be funny and silly, others portray it as creepy, uncanny, or low-quality. The character's form of language has ocassionally faced criticism as well, as evidenced from songs of slightly adulterated lyrics involving him being described as a sexy person and the customary of shaking his rear-end on screen.
Trivia[]
While most of foreign dubbed languages for the Gummibär & Friends series only feature a different voice actor for Gummibär in his dialogues instead of using his trademark singing voice, the German and Hungarian season 2 dubs are currently the only confirmed languages where Maci reprises his role as the main voice actor.[40][41] However, the autotuned voice filter is not used for the dialogues in any of these languages.
Despite not having an officially confirmed age, the majority of members in the Gummibär community commonly associate the 14th of July as the birthdate of Gummibär, as this was one of the first sights of Gummibär's appearance in the Internet.[42] However, an official birthdate has not been confirmed for the mainline Gummibär universe as of currently, and is usually shown in some media as unknown.[14]
According to the lyrics of the Russian version "Я мишка Гумми Бер", Gummibär describes as him as having a similar flavor to a watermelon.[43] However, this has not been completely confirmed if this counts as an official description of the character in the main series.
On the 2006 digital single I'm Your Jelly Baby, Gummibär is strangely named Jelly Baby, this being one of the only times this name was mentioned in an official Gummibär-related material. Most likely being a translation error from the word "Gummy Bear".
This name was later officially referenced in Gummibär's Official Server, being the name of the first member role you get upon chatting online.
Gummibär's eyeballs are clipping through his inner mouth, leading to the illusion of having upper teeth.
In most of Gummibär-related music video material, Gummy's 3D model is quite inconsistent when it comes to clipping through parts of its body. One of these examples include Gummy's eyeballs, which occasionally appear to be clipping through the inside of his mouth, leading to the illusion of having upper teeth.
Despite originally not being meant to have additional teeth besides of his two lower fangs, in the set of exclusive emojis for the Gummibär The Gummy Bear Emojis app, there is a specific emoji where Gummy appears to show his full teeth. This marking the only time Gummibär has only ever been shown with full teeth.
Even though Gummibär's 3D model had always remained the same mesh base with the exception of having its face, skin materials, etc. Gummy Bear Party appears to be some of the only occasions where Gummy's appearance was completely touched up, featuring a brand new model exclusively made for the game.
When Gummibär is shown wearing headphones, he is usually depicted with them placed on the sides of his head. However, in the song "The Gummibär Megamix", Gummibär is shown to be wearing headphones as they would logically be worn. This marking the only time Gummibär has ever worn headphones correctly.
Gummibär has stated himself that he does not have bones in the show.[44] However, there are a couple of scene that could contradict this fact. In the episode "Unhealthy Selfie", at the scene where he is being electrocuted by the lightning from the sky, his skeleton can be seen for a few brief moments while flickering.
During the dialogue cutscenes on Gummibär: Mobile Game, Gummibär reveals that he learned how to speak in gummy language, which consists of an ancient language that is used by the tribe of wild gummy bears.[45]
In an official video posted by the Gummibär account on TikTok, it shows the status of Gummibär as of April 2025, revealing that his favorite food are cookies, while his favorite drink is milk.[46]
↑Gummiländ is also sometimes referred to as "Gummilandia", such as on social media.
↑In a scene of the film The Yummy Gummy Search for Santa, precisely when Harry awakens from a phone call, the caller ID shows up as "Papa Bear", presumably being Gummy's father. It should not be confused with the German alias name "Papabär" by Christian Schneider.
